I have an extensive, interesting background that has led me into the field of Design and Remodeling. I established my business, Home Matters Interior Design, in 2017. Prior to that, I served as the Chief Operating Officer to a successful non-profit, Shepherd’s Gate, in Livermore and Brentwood, Northern California, serving women and children fleeing domestic violence. My passion for design was stirred by the lives I served there. I was involved in building projects that included well over 20,000 square feet of multiple buildings to provide residential housing and services to the precious women and children. As I ran day-to-day operations of administration, accounting, program services, staff training and supervision, fund raising, and many other duties, I also worked with architects and contractors to design and build the beautiful buildings and campuses that still operate successfully today. I experienced the value of creating beautiful, healing space for people to call “home” and, over time, realized that this had been a passion for many years. This is the same passion I bring to every client's project today, and the reason that I am dependable to bring your vision forth successfully and to completion functionally, practically, and beautifully on any budget.
